Heddon Museum

What we are!

 Yes, we really are a museum dedicated to the James Heddon's Sons fishing tackle company. We are located in the James Heddon's Sons factory in Dowagiac Mich. The museum opened in 1995 and we currently have about 3000sq.ft. We started the museum to save the history so others may enjoy the artifacts and learn about James Heddon and his sons. We are open every Tuesday evening from 6:30 - 8:30 and the last Sunday of every month from 1:30-4:00 PM. Because the hours are so limited, we urge people to call us at 616-782-5698 to set up an appointment or email us at heddonmuseum@lyonsindustries.com.

Research.

 We have many original factory papers and have been collecting ads and information papers about the company. We urge people to come and use our library or we will answer questions sent to us. If they are easy for us to answer we do it for free. If it entails spending time researching, then we will come to a mutual charge for the time($ or trade).
