Hi! I'm killerbob33!

OK, here I am! 6' and about 285

First off, let's talk about getting screwed out here on eBay....I had some bad experiences with the following people:  bargindepot04...sells junk, has rotten return policy, lots of others screwed by them.  Watch out for dale@gtoman.com   in Wisconsin.  I questioned some parts I purchased from him and he went postal.  He sold me 1/2 of a tranny mount and will not make good on the missing part.  Also watch out for airplanewho They sold me a 1957 Chevy Nomad that was a total piece of crap.  Just flat lied to me.  They ended the auction and THEN sold me the car, so I could not leave them feedback they deserved.  A recent attempt at screwing me came from partspeddlers concerning a power antenna for my car.  They did not have a complete address on their invoice and once I finally got a street address, I mailed a check on 3-2-2006.  They filed a dispute thru eBay before the payment date was up.  I decided the best way to deal with this, was to PayPal them.  I was informed I would have to pay a 3.5% surcharge (see below).  I contacted PayPal and informed them of this illegal activity.  My payment was refunded about the same time as the postman returned my mailed payment.  It came back marked “return to send-vacant-no forwarding address” dated 3-8-2006.  eBay allowed them to file an unpaid strike against me, which is beyond unfair.  I am currently in a battle to clear this.  BTW, here is a copy of the last email I received from them on 2-21-2006 for your enjoyment:

LISTEN GOOD, you are the real piece of crap! Down here in Georgia the government charges a fee for those who wish to pay for speeding tickets with a credit card. You are nothing but a big piece of naive trash. You can tell whoever the hell you want that charging a fee for PayPal is illegal but down here in Georgia all the junk yards do it. Maybe you should quit wasting time trying to be the hard butt (that you're not) and educate your brain. Your negative feedback won't hurt us!
By the way BITE ME, TOO!!!!!.

Is this the type of people we need on eBay?  First off, charging the Buyer for using PayPal is against PayPal policy, but better yet, it is illegal in all 50 states.  What this person is speaking of is called a “convienence charge” which can be charged under certain govermental conditions.  Sorry, it doesn’t apply in junkyards.  If someone attempts to charge you more than the auction value for accepting PayPal, please call PayPal at 1-402-935-7733 and speak to a Customer Service person.  They WILL straighten the Seller out.  Of course, then we have the crybaby whinners who expect you to drop everything and burn to the Post Office for their Money Order.  These people normally don't take PayPal because they are cheapskates.  To them, I say "BITE ME".  And finally, my favorites, the jerks who are trying to start their own post office and/or handling company.  They charge $9.00 for something it costs them $4.05 to send.  Wake up!  USPS Priority will send you all the boxes, tape and labels you can use for FREE.  Then, when you call or email them, they will come pick it up at your store or home for FREE.  So why screw everybody else?  Read the shipping before bidding.  I ship at cost people.  I expect the same from you.  BTW, my life does NOT revolve around eBay or burning payments around the country.  Need to get in touch with me?  Here it is:  Les Kasten, 12501 Danbury Way, Rosemount, MN 55068-3517, phone is 651-423-7358.  I hide from nobody.

OK, here's a new one....manybeerpints sold me a new Corona cooler (eBay #280136721029) for the back of my Harley trike.  The unit showed up via UPS with a big dent in the rear from POOR packaging by the SELLER, not Corona.  UPS did nothing wrong.  Anyway, I emailed them and told them it was bent.  They asked for photos and I provided although I did not remove the plastic packaging around the cooler.  I waited for two weeks with no word.  Finally after writing again, I was told that UPS had denied the claim and apparently, I was screwed.  I then opened the plastic and took new photos clearly showing the damage using a straight edged ruler.  I sent the photos to the SELLER.  First off, whether or not UPS honored the claim is totally inmaterial.  These people owed me a perfect cooler, which I did not receive.  So now, I was told I would have to wait and see if UPS would now pay with my new photos.  AGAIN, THIS IS NOT MY PROBLEM.  Manybeerpints packed this thing incorrectly.  I was dealing with some nut case named Mandy.  Mandy knows nothing about Customer Service and has the tact of a tank in a china shop.  I refuse to deal with morons and people who don't know anything.  She wrote me and told me that I could file a claim with UPS but I should be thankful they did it for me.  Wake up....the SELLER/SHIPPER MUST FILE THE CLAIM.  The person who recieved cannot file a claim.  Anyway, the SELLER HAD a perfect 100% feedback record until today.  Oops!   I am out the cooler and I have filed a complaint with PayPal and eBay.  You should read the ranting emails from this nut case!  I was told this morning that she would not send the replacement cooler unless I gave them positive feedback BEFORE the cooler was sent out. Maybe Mandy should consider a new job as a gangster doing extortion.  Nothing like being held hostage when you're in the right.  Be sure to file a complaint early on, the second you have problems with your SELLER.  You can always back up if the case is resolved.  This one wasn't because of Mandy creating her own policy for handling UPS damage claims and screwing me out of something I paid for.  Perhaps Mandy can take the $120+ I spent there for NOTHING and purchase some lessons on Customer Service and tact.  And as always, as with everything on this page, this is in my opinion. Oh, and PayPal felt so strongly about this being wrong, THEY have refunded my money.  Does that tell you something here, Mandy?   Update:  9-2007  The bozos deceided to withdraw all feedback and send me a new cooler.  Guess what?  it showed packed just like the first one and damaged more!  6 emails and still, no response.  I give up.

Here is the newest screwjob I have recieved:  eBay #130167598787, 1999 Bonneville from Elite Motors in Rowley, MA.  Carlot owned by some severe assplug known as george.  Anyway, I bought this car for $1,100 and paid $700 to ship to Minnesota.  Please read the following description from the auction:

We have this beautiful Bonneville SSE sedan to offer this week. It was just traded for a new car. It's finished in champagne metallic with palamino leather interior. A beautiful color combination.

The exterior is in great condition. The paint is bright and gleams. It looks to be all original. It does have a few scratches and paint chips. The gas door has a smal rust bubble as shown. The rear bumper is cracked on the left(pictured). The left grille is cracked/broken(pictured). There are no dents to be found.

The interior is in good condition. The leather seats are a pleasure to travel in. The rear seat looks great. The passenger seat shows minor wear from use. The driver's seat shows wear from normal use. The cloth on the sun visors is falling down a little as shown. It was owned by a nonsmoker.

This SSE is fully loaded. Options include power mirrors, climate control, Bose premium sound system, CD player, power seats, twilight sentinel, heads up display, electronic rearview mirror, gauge package, driver info center, keyless entry, spoiler, and fog lights.

Everything works except the antenna. The A/C blows warm. The front tires show 70% tread and the rears look fairly new.

It's equipped with the powerful 3800 V6 and is FWD. For your added saftey it has ABS braking and traction control.

These are wonderful sport luxury cars. This Pontiac runs and drives great. It shifts thru gears well and the brakes are firm and responsive. If your looking for a Bonneville SSE you've found it. Finished in a rare hard to find color. Offered at No Reserve. This car may be viewed during the auction. Look at my other auctions. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Any questions Email at Kingofcadillacs1@yahoo.com or call 978-590-0014.

The car showed up with three dents in the passenger side rear door, NO BRAKES as two brake lines were leaking/spraying all over the place, the steering column was busted so bad that the second you touched it, bells went off until you shut the car off, the glove box door was busted with one vent completely missing, the low coolant light was on due to a defective sensor in the radiator, the brakes (one we got them working) were metal to metal and the rotors were smoked, the factory stereo had a defective voume control and the CD player bounced and skipped, the fuel pressure regulator was plugged and making the car hard to start (had to crank for 30+ seconds to start), the battery would fail at 30 degrees and the car showed up full of trash on the floor.  Once we finally got the car running right, my family took the car out and we noticed that the air compressor (air ride suspension) was running all the time.  We then found out that the rear struts/shocks were shot and leaking air.  All together, we have spent $3,300 in additional repairs, not counting the stuff Liar george stated in the auction (the power antenna was replaced and the a/c was fixed, both under $100).  He offered to refund our cost of the car.  Let's see....I give you back $1,100 and you can spend another $700 shipping the car back to me, plus the lose the $700 you spent getting the car to Minnesota, plus you can lose the $3,300 you spent trying to repair the car I lied to you about.  So Les gets $1,100 back and looses $4,700!  Gee, I wonder why I didn't take you up on that deal, you assplug.  I filed for SquareTrade medation however Liar George would not do anything except offer our original purchase price back.  I have also contacted the Rowley Police Department for possible charges for fraud.  Please check this guy's feedback....carscarscarstogo.  It sucks and so does he and his junk cars.  Stay away from this type of purchase or use an ebay inspector.  Next time, I will.  As always, this is in my opinion.

October 2009:  ALERT!  Apelna, MI watch out for Mr. & Mrs. Filth (pigpen's mom & dad off Charlie Brown).  They go by guitarsicarinas on eBay and are really Mr. & Mrs McConnell.  They sold me the worlds filthest Filter Queen Majestic vacuum and Defender Air Purifier for $275 with free shipping.  When it got here, we opened the Defender up to find yellow nicotine stains and the smell of a cigarettes asshole.  But wait!  We then opened the vacuum up to find NO filters and this was the way Mr. & Mrs. Filth ran this machine.  We complained and were told we could return it at our expense.  We filed a complaint with PayPal and then Mr. Filth withdrew his offer to take it back.  During this time, he wrote me to say he didn't know the vacuum needed to have filters in place.  What a moron.  PayPal took the money out of their account and gave it back to me however I was stuck with $61 shipping to return this piece of shit.  Their mailing address is the City Dump in Alpena.  Just look for the rising pile of dust and you'll find them.  Boy, if your vacuum was this filthy, I wonder what your shower or toilet look like.  Oh, and Mr. Filth gave me postive feedback but said I'm fat and not to bright and easily confused.  I'd rather be all that then filthy.  And dude, you and your old lady are filthy.  Check out the negative feedback I left Mr. Filth.

Words to live by:

Here is my complaint department manager, TRES! The three-legged Pit Bull!

OK, so what do I collect or what?  Car stuff:  mainly big 1962 to 1966 Pontiac four speed cars (like 2+2's, Grand Prixs, Catalinas and Bonnevilles), 55 to 57 Nomads (have had 14 so far!), 67 Biscayne 427 cars, 1964-66 Chevy Panel trucks and parts therein.  I like N & HO trains and have a G-16 amusement park train (4 locos and 15 coaches, 16" gauge).  I love slotcars! I also like pinballs and jukeboxes.  I also collect artifacts and photos from shipwrecks like the Morro Castle, the Andrea Doria, the Lusitania, Titanic, the American Star and more, to include china and other items retrieved from the wrecks themselves.  I LOVE books about shipwrecks.  Nothing quite like a sinking ship to seperate the cowards from the real men of this world.  I also LOVE music, mainly the Moody Blues, ELO, Yes, Karla Bonoff, J. D. Souther, Kenny Edwards, Jan & Dean, Beach Boys, Ripchords, Fantastic Baggies and the like.  I also LOVE doo-wop, especially Kenny Vance and Planotones.  Kenny was in Jay & the Amercians for years.  Now, he is the King of modern day doo-wop.  He is truly keeping it alive. Of course, I LOVE Twin Peaks (ABC-TV) until it got kinda screwy at the end.  The movie sucked.  “Killerbob” was the killer on Twin Peaks, thus my screen name!  Push, NV (ABC) was cool but it died.  My other eBay name is mr.slotcar.  Check that out too.  Have a happy life and let's try to enjoy eBay, OK?
