kindergarten graduation !!

Don't think I sell all these great collectables because i don't want them! Some are items I own.  and just can't resist getting another to share with the world..  There are so many great motion lamps and clocks, and other things as well ! Some items i sell after buying ..because I always wanted to own one, but simply have to let it go again. .. For instance,  I always wanted a certain motion lamp, but they were too expensive. Finally, I saved my money and bid high enough and I won!  I kept it for a just month and enjoyed it very much. Then, I placed it on auction, and let it go. It was hard, but my kids needed school clothes... When I do that, I get to enjoy and know the lamp myself. I can sell it from a point of view of having really sat for a  time watching it and appreciating it. I getto knowall the details that make it special. I have three children to feed, and that is not easy for a working Mom, especially when two of them are teenage boys!  When do they ever get full?  

Anyway, my Dad collected EVERYTHING, and I got the bug young.  Especially for his motion lamps.   He left me three which I will keep until i die. 

     I have a few motion lamps I will never sell... and a few motion clocks that I won't sell...  But I actually buy many lamps just to own them if only for a short while..   sometimes I even make a little profit, and that is good too! That is why I get to keep one now and then! 

I Loved these lamps back in the 1980's, when my Daddy had 6 Econolites up on his big stone mantle in Little Falls , New York. I inherited 3 of them when he passed on in 1995, and now I want to see every vintage lamp ever made! There are still many I have yet to see in person! My children love them now, and each has a favorite that I must give to them when I go to God, and perhaps they will get passed on and on..  Sometimes they hate to see me sell an especially "cool" one as much as I do!  I Love knowing that each time I receive a dirty unloved lamp, I can clean it and get it going and bring it back to life for others to enjoy..  I have given many as gifts to special people and they are always very appreciated.  Even my husband, Charley, has one on his desk at the bank where he works!  I hope you will visit my auctions and those of others who love these lamps and clocks as much as I do, and discover the magic of motion!  Good Luck! and bid strong!
