The Mark Reynolds Memorial Bike Fund, established in 2004, a 501(c)3 charity. Mark was a avid biker in California and surrounding states, riding in the expert class of riding events. Mark's life was taken in 2004 in California while "DOING WHAT HE LOVED" -- riding his bike.
Many years of Mark's adult life; he would purchased shiny new bikes and matching helmets for underprivileged children, which he donated to a church that he had selected. This occurred mainly during the holiday season. Mark received great personal gratification in giving a child their "First Bike". Throughout Mark's life he remembered the joy of owning a bike in which he cherished as a child.
The Mark Reynolds Memorial Fund in 2004 proudly donated 100+ bikes, over 100+bikes in 2005, over 100 bikes in 2006 to underprivileged children, including bikes specially adapted for children's needs in communities of Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Colorado, California and Pennsylvania. Additional states are added every year.
Our Mission is to continue Mark's passion for biking by carrying on his generosity of giving a child their "First Bike"... Introducing them to recreation and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle while boosting self confidence.
Christmas Bikes for 2007 will be another exciting year for the Mark Reynolds Memorial Bike Fund.
This Fund is supported overwhelmingly by fellow bikers, motocross riders, caring communities, and many generous donors.
YOU REMEMBER YOUR FIRST BIKE, DON'T YOU?
