| About Me |
I started drawing at an early age. My first love of art was for comic books, I would always draw comic book characters, mostly superheroes. I got to a point where I would make up my own characters and draw my own comic books. In High School I was introduced to the works of Salvador Dali and that's when I decided I wanted to paint, specifically surrealism. When you think about it, surrealism and comics are closely related. They both have something to do with dream worlds. I still do comic book art and characters, but I've combined it with my love for painting.    I have won several awards and a mention in "The Artist Magazine" a national magazine. My interest in the arts does not stop at painting, I am also a self-taught musician. I have played in bands and have written and performed my own songs. |
| About My Art |
My art, although labeled surreal, is not as insane or outrageous as most of the surreal art you see. I think of my art more as unreal realism. I like lots of colors in my paintings and I try to think of ways to put as much color as I can in them.    I also like to paint things floating     and just plain different..     |
