My name is Leeona Klippstein, I use to be the Executive Director for the 501(c)3 charity, THE HABITAT TRUST FOR WILDLIFE. I am also a Direct Seller and raise funds as a volunteer for the charity, through Ebay's MissionFish.org and Giving Works.

The items that THE HABITAT TRUST places on Ebay auctions are considered GIFTS to those who donate or make a "charitable contribution" at the amount equal or more that the listed value of the item being auctioned. Our auction items have been either acquired by THE HABITAT TRUST for gifts to donors or by Board Members and supporters. ABOUT THE HABITAT TRUST FOR WILDLIFE

Their mission is to "Give Nature Sanctuary."  They are a land trust and conservancy that focuses on protecting globally imperiled habitats and rare natural communities that are very threatened. Through acquisition and management of habitat lands, they provide permanent conservation for rare and endangered plants, fish & wildlife.

Since 2000, THE HABITAT TRUST has acquired over 300-acres of globally imperiled habitats for rare and endangered species. The habitat lands have permanent conservation easements placed on them and are protected.

The Habitat Trust accepts habitat land donations in Southern California and the Sandhills region of North Carolina. Currently, the habitat lands that they own were acquired as mitigation for development projects.

THE HABITAT TRUST FOR WILDLIFE was incorporated in California in 2002 and received federal charity status in 2003 (ID# 04-3637770). From 2000-2003 they received 501(c)3 fiscal sponsorship from S.E.E., Inc. until they had our own qualification status.
