On Ebay: This is more of a hobby to me than a get rich quick scheme. I list things that interest me. I always try to be as honest as possible. If there is a problem with an item I'm selling, you'll be told about it in the auction.

On shipping:  My shipping is not a moneymaker either. I try to be fair and not pad my shipping. But as Ebay raises their fees so my shipping go up. Still, I try to be fair. If only Ebay was fair in the fee's they charge. Think of it this way: A fee to list. A fee for the fianl selling price. A fee for the use of Pay pal (Ebay owns). So in your Ebay experience you think shipping fee's are to high, take into consideration that as sellers we are not getting rich. Yeah, I guess they are doing me a favor by being a wonderful outlet to sell stuff but it's them (and not me) getting rich!

On "All sales are final": I've had some bad experiences over the years with unscrupulous buyers (something for free), so I always state that all sales are final.  PLEASE NOTE: If you don't pay for the insurance offered, I have no control over the postal service and the care they take (or don't take). So if you don't purchase insurance and your item arrives damaged I'm sorry but there is nothing I can do. I recently had a guy buy a ten dollar item that was slightly boogered up thanks to USPS. He said "I still want it, but how are YOU going to make this right?" (right away I thought ...ahhh another something for nothing guy!)  To which I answered "I made like a dollar 'till all was said and done, you where offered insurance, you didn't want it. I can't help you".

On me as a buyer: As a buyer, I pay instantly in most cases (unless it's the middle of the night, or I'm away from a PC). If I buy from you, you'll want my repeat business. I treat buyers the way I want to be treated as a seller. Keep in mind, if you over pad your shipping ,you'll never get my business.

On Feedback: I leave feedback as soon as you pay. I see sellers holding  feedback hostage. I feel like if you don't leave feedback as soon as a buyer pays .... you have something to hide. It's like this, If you're a seller and you don't leave feedback until I do (as a buyer) guess what? You're not getting fedback.

I've left a few negatives for non-paying bidders, it's the last thing I want to do. But if you can't pay, don't bid.

The bottom line: This is all about having fun (and being  responsible). This isn't going to make me rich I'm afraid :>)
