My Crazy friends at the Scrapbooking Christmas Party

I live on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland....I call it God's Country.  The pace is slower, and the people are laid back.  It's a wonderful place to live and raise kids.  I live in The Middle of Nowhere with my husband of 20 years, 18 year old son, 15 year old daughter, 2 cats, a dog, and a hamster.  I tell people I live in a field.  If you're surrounded by farmland on three sides, I think that qualifies.  We lived in a neighborhood until 8 years ago, then took the trek back to my stomping grounds which was only 20 minutes away.  We absolutely love it!  The best part is being able to watch the sun rise and set from my yard.

My other love is Scrapbooking! I have always dabbled in crafts, but when I discovered scrapbooking and rubberstamping, my creative juices really started to flow.  It has become one of America's leading hobbies.  I own a scrapbook store in Easton, Maryland.  That's pretty amazing since it took 2 years for a friend to convince me to go to a Creative Memories Party!  However, once I started I was hooked!  It's a great hobby to share with friends and family.  My Mom, daughter, and sister-in-law have become my scrapping buddies.  It's difficult to find a hobby that can be enjoyed by teens, those reaching their retirement years, and those of us who are in between.  I have also met a ton of friends by attending crops and events.  We had such a good time, that now I host them!
