First let me tell you a little about myself.
It may have all started when I was a little girl. As you can see me with my first Lamby cake. They told me they were going to cut the cake and I protested (notice the finger pointing at the camera).
But now I am a country girl from the heart of the Midwest.
Not only do We share our farm with cows, horses, goats, chickens, etc., we also share it with the deer, squirrel, rabbits, and birds that have chosen to adopt us.
If you see someone walking a calf on a rope down the road, followed by the dogs and cats, it's proabably me. My neighbors think that is a little odd but it's just that I love animals (especially dogs) and have that special relationship to them.

My love of old vintage quilts and textiles is quite evident in my work. A specialty is the life size old world Santa's and Father Christmas. Each unique piece is crafted from antique quilt, woolen blanket or coverlet, with a hand sculpted face and carries an electric candle or lantern and occasionally has a sheep or reindeer by his side. He may carry a sack or pull a wagon which would be filled with antique toys or primitive items she creates.
When I am not creating her seasonal items, I am busy making table runners from antique quilts that are usually hand quilted, vintage coverlets and other primitive textiles. Careful to use only quality pieces, the scraps are set aside to be used in ornies, rag balls and other decorative pieces. Aside from the vintage, I also create the primitive dolls, snowmen, Americana and Halloween items, all grunged with my special technique that gives them a rustic time worn look.
Also I like to write poetry and I would like to share this one with you.
OUR FLIGHT...
We are like birds in Thy Fathers hand not knowing where our flight will
take us. Fluttering to and fro in search for a place to land.
When we give our hearts to Him he protects the fowl against the wind
and the storms that pass by. For that is the point our life begins.
As we grow in His grace with everlasting peace, stonger yet more
graceful we become. We develop our wings a little more each day until
we're ready for release.

We are Sisters from Missouri graced with a passion for turning old discarded items into collectable Primitive and Folk Art decor. We use things from Vintage rusted tin ware and wood items to tattered Antique Quilts and Vintage Coverlets with our added flair, restore them back to life.
The Primitive lifestyle is part of our roots. The barn you see on our web is the actual barn of our Grandparent's home place which is where our true love for Primitives began.
Our Grandmas big old Farm House was just packed full of Primitives and Antiques. We would watch her make bread using her old wooden dough bowl..letting it rise on top of the huge wood cook stove. Once baked the aroma filled the house and nothing is better than hot homemade bread and hand churned butter.
We love the peacefulness and simplicity of that lifestyle and hope it reflects in our work. Most of our items are One of A kind. We haunt Antique Shops, Thrift Stores, sales and auctions looking for the old and unusual.
We have combined our efforts of painting and sewing and are blessed to share our creations with you.If you like hand painted folk art items and hand crafted primitive items then come, join us on this journey. You will find our "twist" on the most unusual and unique vintage and antique items.
