Hi, Folks!
These are my kids and grandkids--I'm so proud of all of them!


I'm so glad REAL quilts are back!
Quilts made with love and care--nothing else can compare!
I've been quilting since I was knee-high to a grasshopper--brought up in it by my daddy's family's deep south women-folk and my mother's pioneering 'survived the dust bowl' midwest family.
 
You'll see a lot about me and mine in my listings. We're a service-oriented family including EMTs, deputies, firefighters, teachers and preachers, farmers, descendants and veterans of the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the War between the States (the Civil War), WW I, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Iran, and Iraq veterans and current military service members. My listings include items which honor these professions and also reflect our 'human side'--I'm crazy about roses, Clay's into 'trah-tors', and we're all huge OU fans--go Sooners! And of course, there are my grandkids! I'm up to eight now (blessed with three within a five week period), so I'm always involved with lots of baby and kiddo themes in my listings.
 
I'm awfully picky about my own projects and since the fabrics I list are connected to projects of my own, I choose and prep them according to my super-fussy ancestral and 4-H standards. Color coordination is vital and I choose fabrics that will last. I want my own quilts and the items I provide to others for their quilts to hold their shape and color as long as my great-great-great-grandmothers' quilts have.
 
Now I'll continue to be honest (I can't help it--it's one of my flaws)--ebay is like a second job for me. I'm a special education teacher working with emotionally-disturbed and probation kiddos in an inner-city middle school. Some days can be pretty rough so I may not get a chance to answer emails every night. But as soon as I can, I will get back to you. And, like anyone else, I do make mistakes from time to time--but I will make it more than right if you just give me a chance.
 
I strive to be proud of all that I offer. Now, I'm not used to tooting my own horn, but I believe that my items are among the best offered anywhere (and that my flannels may indeed be the very, very best). I'm not a big operation (it's usually just me working at nights and on weekends with my husband doing the post office trips during his lunch break) and I do close my store during Christmas and part of the summer to devote my time back home with my family. I know that closing my store and auctions twice a year may cost sales and patronage, but for me, family comes first--it's the most important of all!
