Welcome to Mosaic Memories. I hope by visiting my site you find a way to make some memories of your own. Whether my items remind you of beautiful things in your past or beautiful items you would love to own in your future. Mosaics have become a passion with me, since learning I could no longer do stained glass due to severe arthritis. I felt like my life had stopped since I couldn work, drive and at times can barely walk. When I saw some of the wonderful mosaic pieces on Ebay, by Cher and Mary from Moosaics, I knew I had found my new escape from pain. They were there to help me with questions on how to succeed with mosaics and their beatiful tiles are the work of two really talented artists. I've met other friendly and talented people along the way, that I now consider real friends. Carol from CMK Sculptures is a perfect example. I get my beautiful hand made porcelain roses and other kiln fired items from her. Andrea from The Mosaic Dachshund, (chip of china) has a style of handpainting like no one I've ever seen before. Melody from Bustin 'n Bangin has always gone out of her way to help me any way she can. I want to thank them all and there are many more I haven listed, for their thoughts and prayers when my health gets bad and let them know how much it means to know there are people out there who care. It is so true that when God closes a door, he opens a window.

Everything goes in mosaics! That's what makes it so much fun. I love to hunt and gather items from everywhere and you will find things in my mosaics from all over the world. I use everything from antique glass buttons, hand painted and hand made tiles from talented artists, stained glass of all colors and designs, fused glass in the beautiful colors of dichroic glass, shells, cameos, antique jewelry, gemstones, beautiful hand made ceramic roses by Carol, and anything else of beauty I can get my hands on. My studio is so overloaded with "special little items" that my husband swears a sinkhole is going to form under our home in Florida!
