Eden Rose, one of my reborn babies

 I am Heather Murphey, the creator of Shamrock Babies reborn collectible dolls. I have always had a passion for both art and doll collecting and reborning has given me the opportunity to combine the two. I first became interested in reborning when I accidently stumbled upon reborn dolls on eBay. I bought one, but wanted more, so I began making them myself. Though I would love to keep them all, both time and space limit me, so I decided to share them with others, which is why I am selling them here on eBay.

I have a BA degree in art (and an MA in another area) and I have taken painting lessons since I was in grade school. I am currently teaching college (not art) and these lovely dolls offer me a chance to put my artistic powers to work. Because I have studied art, I understand the importance of using only high quality materials in my art, and that includes my dolls, all of which I color with Genesis heat set paints. Though I do not accept returns on reborn dolls because of the work involved, I do stand by my work. All of my dolls are OOAK and they have different features. If you have questions about them, please ask before you bid.

In addition to making reborn dolls, I have a number of other hobbies, including historical reenactment. I have been involved with the SCA (Society for the Creative Anachronism, a medieval reenactment group) for 10 years now. Through the SCA, I have learned a number of historical crafts, including spinning. I enjoy spinning my own yarn and thread and though I usually spin wool, I also spin silk, flax, buffalo wool, and any other fiber I can get my hands on. I have been spinning for nearly 8 years now and I spin all of my yarn on drop spindles, a timeconsuming but rewarding technique. In addition to spinning, I have also been hand dying my own wool and silk, using a variety of dyes from the very traditional natural dyes to bright neon dyes. *Due to a variety of problems with Ebay listings, I now list most of my handspun yarn on another site. In addition to selling my own handmade goods on eBay, I also sell quality used items (gently used clothing, dvds, books, etc) from time to time, in order to cut down on the clutter in my house. I try to represent all my items as honestly and thoroughly as possible; however, if you have questions, be sure to ask before you bid. I do not give refunds unless the item is defective. All returns must be returned to me within seven days in the original condition. I do not refund shipping. That having been said, I really am quite reasonable. As a buyer I expect to be treated fairly, and as a seller I return the same courtesy. I want my buyers to be happy. If you have a problem, please contact me before leaving negative feedback.

I try to ship my items as soon as possible. Most of my items ship within 48 hours of receiving payment. Though most people receive their items within a few days, I cannot be held responsible for the Post Office's shipping delays. If you need an item right away, please let me know in advance. I can ship priority or overnight if necessary. (Buyer pays any additional costs.)
