Oh my, "What am I going to do when I retire?" This was a question that dogged my mind as I sat in the teacher's lounge. In retorical reply I spent part of the next two years exploring the operation of a pawnshop in small midwest towns. At the end of that time span I decided to open a part-time pawn in Greenfield, Iowa.

This enterprise has given me much pleasure, dealing with clients, wheeling and dealing, striking a bargin. Everything in my shop is an item that someone on ebay is seeking. I am here to oblige! When time permits I will be aiming for brighter stars and a higher profit margin by using then ebay community as my client base. Look for "a good deal and a good deal more!" from Swan's Pawn.
