Hi!  Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little better.  My name is Terry, I live near Hollywood and I've been an actor, and sometimes writer, for over 20 years (don't get all mathematical on me--I started when I was young and had a head full of hair).  In my world, auditions pop up with very little notice from your agent.  The phone rings and you have to dress like your favorite vegetable for a commerical audition in 2 hours (an extreme example, but I'm not kidding...I picked Green Bean--it was the easiest to throw together....and I do enjoy them).  Anyway, I find it nearly impossible to have a "real" job to fill in the gaps between acting & writing work.  I tried the waiter thing--and discovered I'm not what one might call "gifted" in that area.  I do enjoy going to auctions and it hit me one day that I could sell the goodies that I find at auctions on eBay and perhaps avoid homelessness--a possible winning combination.  When I'm bidding on stuff at the auction with money I don't exactly have yet, I have my doubts about some of the choices I've made in life, but somehow it's always miraculously works out.  I'm very grateful for the flexibility eBay gives me to pursue my career.  Thanks to people like you!

My Day Job

I try to do my very best at everything I undertake.  I use to be a buyer on eBay and I've experienced poor packaging, long waits for your item and even paying for something and never hearing from the person again.  I probably don't have to tell you that...it stinks.  So my goal is to be the person that I'd be pleased to buy from.  I have a 100% approval rating which I don't take lightly because its not easy and it may not last forever, but I try my very best to be prompt, friendly, fair and careful with each item and every transaction.  I describe items as accurately as I possibly can, and I pack them as safely as possible.  At the auctions, I bid on things I'm attracted to so I take pride in the items I sell.  I love it when someone gets excited about an item--because then I know its going to have a good home.  Not everything I sell is from an auction.  From time to time I list some "Hollywood" items--for example a gift bag from an Emmy party at Spago's or something (it's not like I'm a regular at Spagos or anything--but when you're invited to a party all you have to do is pay for the parking and the food is free---and sometimes there's even gift bags!)  So that explains those random Hollywood items.  Anyway--if you have a question about anything--feel free to ask.  Thanks again for reading more about me--I aspire to be one of your favorite sellers!  And THEN...some day not too far away...I want you to be able to point to your favorite vase and say---"see that vase, I bought that from Terry So-and-So---he use to sell things on eBay....honest!"
