Hi, my name is Terry Bell. I have been in the arcade amusement business for more than 28 years. I started just out of high school with a little 1000 sq ft location and a few games on a route. I had a lot of help from my mom and dad(I miss them dearly, they were the best freinds you could ever have).

I learned almost everything I know about the arcade business including how to work on them by myself. I worked at Motorola in Ft Worth for 3 years and then on to General Motors in Arlington Tx. while I was building up my business. I went semi solo in 85 and completely solo in 88. There is not very much in the arcade business that I have not experienced or repaired. Its not been completely without pitfalls and so I learned as much from those as any of the rest of it.

I have alot of people that come to Tornado Terrys Family Amusement Center here in Keller TX. Anyone who's been here knows we don't operate inside the box. People are amazed by our facility. My wife Shannon works as hard as I do while in fact holding a job elsewhere(she is a police officer),This is a family business, my son Richard works for me as well as my mother in law Gwen.

The nickname " Tornado" was given to me by a freind of ours who worked at one of the local hospitals. She said "You never let any grass grow under your feet and you've always got something going on" Well I have to admit thats a trait I owe to my father because that descibes him to a T, no pun intended. My mother was also a go getter and played well opposite my father so its no surprise to that the name was bestowed on me. 

Anyone who has bought from us online on e bay will tell you they get their parts FAST. I have to admit we really dont do anything special, it just seems that way. For example, most folks get their parts in a couple of days. Thats because we dont hold orders for several days like alot of other e bayers do, we ship at least once and sometimes twice a day. I know if I bought parts from someone I would want them shipped asap too so I treat everyone like I want to be treated. I want my parts fast and so do you, end of story. So really we dont do anything special at all, we just do what others could do if they wanted to!

I am a big fan of Drag Racing, I love arcade games and also Nascar(CHEVY), Baseball(Texas), Football (Cowboys)and Basketball(of course, you guessed it, the MAVS). Four wheelers, motorcycles(I have a 1979 honda CBX 6 cylinder)and I still own my very first vehicle, a 68 chevrolet pickup my uncle bought brand new and was special ordered with a 396 CI, 400 turbo transmission and factory air and power brakes, it even has leaf springs instead of coils!
