Transfan's Excellent Eighties


Everyone has begun to know me as Transfan, but my real name is Paul.  I began collecting Transformers WAY back in 1984.  My parents bought them for me at Christmas time that year.  Upon opening them, I was unsure what they were.  I had not been exposed to the Transformers line until that point.  From then on, I was hooked!  They were the neatest things that I had ever seen!  The cartoon became the next step in learning more about these fantastic toys.  I remember that one of the first Transformers I received was Mirage.  Even at that age, I took really good care of them, keeping all of the parts and instructions.  This went on for years, up until about '87/'88.  That is when I stopped buying and just kept them for display.  I ended up with a little more than 100 Transformers, thanks to my parents and grandparents.  Then a sad point in history came for my TF'ers, they got packed away as I entered high school.  Towards the end of high school, I met a tremendous woman.  She ended up being my high school sweetheart and after school my partner for life!  So, when we got married, I started getting rid of some of my stored away things like sports cards and comic books.  The next thing on the list was my stored away TF'ers, not by her accord but my own.  I just felt that it was time to move on.  We looked locally to sell them, to no avail, as everyone just wanted them for basicly nothing.  With the local people not interested, I turned to Ebay.  I ended up selling Bumblebee for my first transaction and realized that I still wanted to keep the rest of my bots.  So after that sale, I started to buy other collections to expand and improve mine.  Now I mostly buy them for resale, all the while offering some of the best prices for personal collections!   This is my passion.  Check my feedback, one of the most honest and best Transformer resellers on Ebay!  Let me know if you have any questions.
