Welcome Everyone to my About Me page!
EBay ID: We_beat_autism
I hope by reading this you will learn a little bit more about me and my family and our motivation behind selling on Ebay! It all started about 3 years ago when I bought a silver spoon for my mother. After winning that auction, I was hooked! I mostly buy/sell brand name childrens clothing and scrapbooking supplies, but I will search out just about everything to find a bargain!
A little bit about me and my family!!!
I am a stay-at-home and work-from-home mother of 3. I work full-time as a medical transcriptionist out of my home as well as listing auctions on Ebay! Things do get a little crazy around here at times, but when you do something that you are passionate about - you find a way to make it work and I am definitely passionate about selling on Ebay! I will get into that more in a little bit.
I have been married to the most wonderful guy for 7 years now. He is a very hard working and successful manager in the automotive industry. Without him, none of what I do or achieve would have been possible. He is my knight in shining armor!!

As I stated above, we have three great kids together. Austin, age 10 is our oldest. He is my little right-hand man. He is always there to help when I need a helping hand with the little ones and never complains about the older brother responsibilities. He has even managed to sell a few things on Ebay (with Mom's help of course). So you never know, he may be an upcoming PowerSeller.

My middle son, Brendan, is 6 and he is my motivation behind selling on Ebay. 3 years ago Brendan was diagnosed as severely autistic and very quickly his treatment bills starting sky rocketing. I decided to give selling on Ebay a try to help defray those costs. 100% of my profit goes directly towards his therapy bills and supplements. He had severe speech and developmental delays which required a lot of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, etc. If there is a therapy that is needed out there - he received it. Any parent will tell you, that if your child needs help - there is nothing you wouldn't do to provide that help for them. Ebay just happened to be my answer to help fund his needs. So rest assured that when you bid on one of my auctions your money is going to great cause. Thanks to all of my past customers, Brendan will be entering first grade this fall 2006. Read my review on How We Beat Autism! None of this would have been possible without Ebay!!

Brendan Joe, - age 6. THANK YOU EVERYONE! Just seeing this smile on his face is a huge development.
Please take a second to check out my Guide posted on Ebay called "How Our Family "Beat" Autism. Here you will find some helpful information and give you some background on how we did it.
Last, but definitely not least, my baby girl, Leah. She is 4 years old and full of energy. She keeps us all on our toes. I love shopping for her on Ebay. I can find some of the cutest little girls clothes for her without ever leaving my house. Some of my favorites for her are Gymboree, Tommy and Ralph Lauren. If you are going to dress your kids, you might as well do it in brand nams when you can get them at bargain prices.

My little princess -- Leah, age 4.
