Who is (santa)?
Many people ask...
I have had many buyers ask why my ID is (santa). I created this ID when Christmas shopping on eBay several years ago. My husband, children and I had all shared and ID up to that point and I wanted to make sure they didn't peek at what I was buying for them. My best Christmas finds always come from eBay because I can find such unique, personalized gifts. Like a post card for my inlaws of the exact spot on a lakeshore where Dad proposed to mom and from the same era.

How do I find my fabrics...
I love to fabric shop, even more than I like to sew, so this was a perfect solution for me. I shop for great values on quality cottons that I can pass on to others. When I was shopping on eBay for specific fabrics for some quilts, I was shocked at some of the asking prices. 95% of my fabrics start out at $5.50 per yard or $2.95 per half yard. I will occasionally buy something extra special at a bit higher price that I can't stick to my guidelines on, but it will still be a good deal!
And then there is shipping.... I HATE being overcharged on shipping. I don't weigh every package, but have averaged packages with the same yardages to get a fair shipping value, I don't add any mark up to it for 'handling'. And for large orders, I have been known to fit 7 yards of fabric (or 12 patterns) into a flat rate priority mailer so that all I have to charge is $5.00 shipping - what a deal!
Yes, between actual shipping and PayPal fees I rarely recieve the full selling price for my fabric. However, when I started this, I did it for the enjoyment not too make as much money as possible by over-charging. It is more of a hobby with the perk that I earn a bit of 'fun' money for my family, rather than a part time business,

To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.
