And, up close!!!

 I live to get to all the wonderful antiques shops here in Maine as well as New Hampshire, Vermont and sometimes Massachusetts when I visit my son... I hunt down the BEST estate sales, an occasional auction around me and sadly these days, the not-so-many BARN sales where I get thrills climbing up on to and into piles of "stuff" to sniff out a treasure!! I have come face to face with hiding bats… a mouse or two & was even bitten by a snake… but only once thank goodness. Many days I come home covered head to toe in dirt & remnants of cobwebs I encounter in my hair, but to me if I make someone happy with one of my fabulous finds… it's all worth it!
