We live way down south where the magnolias bloom, the watermelons grow big, juicy and red, and the BarBQue sizzles!! When i grow old I will "wear funny hats and grow tomatoes" (Shirley McClain from Steel Magnolias)...cause thats what us southern girls are supposed to do!! We live in the best spot in the world! 

We have been blessed with 5 wonderful children. Ages 18,16,13,10, and 8. 3 beautiful girls and 2 little monkey boys...LOL....arent they all monkeys. They are truly gifts, each one!!!

We love to go camping (3 hours from Chattanooga), to the movies, just 3 hours to the sugar white beaches of the gulf and who can resist Disney World (only 6 hours away)...we try to make it there atleast once a year. Traveling is so much fun...however, we dont have to go far....the kids just love weekend getaways!! And i love searching the flower shops when we travel. I found a dealer at a Market in Knoxville about 4 years ago and OMGosh he still gets some of the best stuff I have ever seen!!! 

Our family is our most valuable gift ~ and we treasure each and every day together ~ soon they will be grown and gone, each one with little pieces of my heart~

WOW!!! Can you believe how fast this season is flying by!! It amazes me every year how quickly it passes!!

Everyone here on the Homefront is just great! The kids are growing like weeds and doin well in school!! Tieryan, our 14 yr old, is straight A's for whole year so far...she was accepted into the International Baccalaureate Program at Hardaway High School!! Im so proud of her!

Alainah, the oldest, 19, is beginning Nursing school in Dec. Im thrilled for her. We have an extreme need for nurses here in our 4 hospitals and she will always have a job!! I think she will love it!! We have recently found out that we will be grandparents, they are due March 6 and we are thrilled for them!!

Kaity, the 17 yr old, is doing awesome as well....She is a senior and living the "teenage" life with all her friends having a ball...She better live it up now, college is going to smack her in the face...LOL...She is really smart and wants to teach high school...probably at the same high school where she is going now. She loves it!

The little monkey boys are doing great! Jake, our littlest, 9, is doing so much better in school. He struggled last year but really has turned the corner this year. He is so motivated. He plays baseball as well and loves it!!! Trent Jr.,12, hes just all boy.....trying to become a man....and scaring me to death! LOL.....Im used to girls going through puberty, not boys....Scary! He also plays baseball with his brother but i think his heart is in entertaining....honestly that boy should be on stage or in a cartoon..He cracks me up!!
