I've had several people ask a lil' about me, so here we go with a teeny bit of a description!

First off I guess you'd probably like to know.... I'm a member of the female portion of the species, my name is Raia, pronounced like Mariah, without the "Ma" part of course.
Oh you think the spelling is funny? Yeah me too, but that was Mom's idea on just a wee bit too much demerol.
It was sheer torture when I was a kid, but I've gotten used to it, so I don't mind it so much anymore!
Most of my eBay friends call me Diz or Dizzy, you may feel free to as well!

I've been a happy member of eBay for Eleven Years, since March 4th 1998, back when they were just cute lil' babies (when listing was 10 cents and paypal was free! lol), and absolutely loooooooove it here!

For the last six years I've been living up a dirt road, on a mountain, truly out in the
Wilderness of Southern Oregon!


"Feisty" one of my pets (she's got a new baby hidden behind her in that brush! *grin*)... isn't she MAGNIFICENT! :)

Yes it's true... I'm on sabbatical........ indefinately!
I rent a kinda' run-down-shack-of-a-cabin on forty acres smack dab in the middle of the National Forest with creeks, waterfalls, a river and TONS of Gorgeous TREES!!
(even an old rusty moonshine still! *laughing*)
Just me, with my 240 lbs. worth of perfect puppies (Yeah right more like monster mutts, but only I can call them that! *laughing*), a digger squirrel named "Cheeks" who lives in my walls (because I just can't figure a way to politely get her to depart!), big gray squirrels outside, tons and tons of birds (they just know where to get a free meal!), even a HUGE crowd of wild turkeys (see the goofy pic's below!:), lots of deer (who get fed as well!), a few bears (I try not to feed them, but they love the apple tree 15 feet from my bedroom window {eek!} and partake anyway... as if I could stop them!), several bats have uninvitedly entered (yuck!), had a few snakes in the house too (MeGa YUCK!), three SCORPIONS (oh what a feeling!) thousands of spiders (who have a whole new place in my heart after meeting mister scorpion *laughing*), millions of other unidentifiable bugs, coupla' cougars have cruised through (eek!), a cute lil' mouse now and then, some raccoon (namely "Rascal"), a few foxes (namely "Wink" and his scraggly ol' woman "Rags") and coyotes, a very large herd of elk running through (sometimes blocking the dirt road to get home!) and countless other beautiful, sometimes scary critters running around!
Oh and another favorite baby... a Pygmy Spotted Skunk named "Squirt" who's been with me for over 3 years now! *big grins* She's decided to move into the attic, mud room, under the tub (and anywhere else she likes! *laughing*), make best friends with the kitty (they even share a food bowl!), only slightly larger than a chipmunk, she runs around on her front legs while doing handstands (no kidding!) and is just the cutest lil' thing ever!
So far she has *not* lived up to her name!
(Thank you God! *laughing*)

Oh my gosh! There are TWO "Squirts" *laughing!* Hopefully some cuter pic's of them (maybe with babies!) to follow soon! *huge grins*

I was born and raised in Southern California and right about the time I thought I was going to spontaniously combust, I sold the house, packed a few things, gave stuff away, left the antiques, booked it for higher ground and never looked back!
I miss my family (*badly!*), though my mom and big brother have migrated up here as well (YeaY!), tons of friends, desperately miss the THRILL of a live HOCKEY game and the occasional social atmosphere stuff, but have not the slightest desire to live in that rat race and unbelievable traffic ever again... life is just far too short to spend suffering from roadrage and sitting in gridlock!
(You kids that do still live there are way tougher than I am!)
It's just far too beautiful, quiet and peaceful here!

Seems like I've learned more in the last six years than throughout my entire ** years...
I've enhanced my chainsaw skills... I can fall a tree, choke a log and drag it behind my truck... learned to change alternators, tires, hoses, cables and numerous other automotive parts, cuz' there are zero mechanic's shops up here (nope, no AAA tow trucks either, not that cell phones even work up here! *laughing*) and there are just far too many more things to bore you all with here!



Okay... enough of that junk and on to more interesting things...

When I'm not roughin' it... I absolutely loooooooove pretty, soft, luxurious, scented things such as oils, candles and perfumes, silks and furs, but I especially love comfy LINGERIE and if it were socially acceptable I would be wearing it all the time!
I know there must be tons of people who feel the same way, so maybe we could all lobby for a new law! *grin*
I don't really have any "next-door" neighbors though, so unless I venture down to town for supplies (then of course it's leather, levi's, lace (always), leopard or a wildly FUN combination of them all! *grin*), living in lingerie is not much of a problem for me up here!
Other than when it gets so bare-butt cold and Mother Nature forces you to break out your sweats! *grin*

I'm always going through my things, as well as searching all over the southern part of this state (when the roads aren't too icy... eek!) for the funnest, prettiest, sexiest, silliest, funkiest, coolest, grooviest, most interesting
(overkill?... ya' think? *grin*) and top quality items to list for you!
Also... I just went up in the attic (eek!) and broke my sewing machine out of mothballs and will try to find some time to make some fun things for you soon as well!

**Please Note: I lose power *~frequently~*, so if there is ever a problem getting ahold of me (especially during the winter months), this is probably the reason! I have a generator, but it's very small and doesn't throw out quite enough juice to run this dinky lil' computer "Chernobyl" for very long periods of time... If I've lost phone (our two tin cans and a string system) then I'm a done deal altogether for a while!

I USED to truly believe in eBay's feedback forum as a much needed resource in knowing a lil' bit better who you're dealing with on the internet, alas they have changed it for the worse, so unfortunately now it's of no use...

**Listings: I inspect and measure each Pretty lil' Ditty very, very carefully, if I say a gown fits a 38 inch bust this means I've tried it on to be absolutely sure (this measurement is of the actual garment and does not mean bra size, measure yourself at the fullest part of your bust to be sure of a perfect fit) and if I find a flaw, no matter how teeny tiny or insignificant, You *will* know about it and for this reason, do not have a return policy, unless I've majorly goofed on something of course! :)
I want the only surprises you receive to be *~GOOD~*, *~FUN~* and *~HAPPY~* ones!! :) :) :)



My only source of heat...

Yes it's an ol' woodstove!

I try very hard to make sure every beautiful piece that's on it's way to You is freshly hand laundered, clean and ready to slip on and your items come to you from a NON~SMOKING home :)

I do run on wood heat and every once in a great while I have trouble getting the fire going, which causes smoke or the flue on the woodstove backed up into the house (yuck!)
I go above and beyond, so you'll always feel warm, fuzzy and most especially, deliriously *~HAPPY~* with your purchase!! :)

*Always* check your sellers feedback for their eBay "birthday" that's where you'll find the truth... ebay does not lie about this, unlike some sellers.
Even when feedback is "merged" from "another ebay ID", the original starting date is used in the feedback profile.
Nearly 100% in repeat customer rate and positive comments over 3,300+ and a 100% feedback rating (anything under 100% is not "pristine") over 2,900+, meaning nearly half of those comments are from
Happy, Satisfied *~Repeat~* Customers... (*~THANK YOU!~*)... and well Over 5,000+ Successfully Completed Transactions! :)

The days of sellers fibbing on how long they've been with eBay are over, because You may now check in a sellers feedback profile for length of time on eBay to better insure yourself of a smooth transaction! :)
I have many, many *~reputable~* and *~honest~* "top" seller friends on eBay that I've been fortunate enough to get to know over the last 9~10+ years... some very, very sweet girls, such as Yvonne of soft*wear (Gorgeous Lingerie, *~FABU~* Designer Clothing and an absolute living doll! Search for her goodies under "SW"!), Gurlz Gone Glam Lingerie (GurlzGoneGlam), Jackie of unbuttoned (fun, funny and super sweet! "UB" to search), Kim of kimsvanityflair (an incredible woman with an even more incredible daughter, on vacation!), Chris of cherry*tomato (extremely hard to find girdles and corsets? she's your girl! and a down to Earth cool chick to boot! search "ctop"), "Lolly" of princesslolly (always superb pieces and a total sweetheart!), Jean of sweet*n*wise (her eBay name says it all and fits her *~perfectly~* *laughing!*), Toni of norcal (another sweetheart!), Donna of odonna (a doll! on vacation, search "OD"), Tricia of underexposed (a doll! on vacation, search "UX") and the list goes on and on...
We genuinely care about one another... I chat and trade with them frequently and this sort of slander, resulting from the plagiarism thing (being copied and cloned), seems to happen to all of us "old-timers" now and then after so many years on eBay, as I receive quite a few e-mails to that effect from them as well... I guess it's just part of the eBay world now! :)

All of us original Girls stick together, we've all developed our own *~unique~* ad styles, which are frequently cloned, and do not participate in plagiarism, breaking eBay rules and reg's or the bad-mouthing of others :)
However, we sure don't sit back and put up with the few psychotic, obsessive, dishonest and hurtful stalker sellers who practice those undesirable character traits either...

I'm sure we've all heard the saying "Birds of a feather flock together" and eBay is no different, sadly the "others" seem to flock together as well.
(please note the keyword *~honest~* above in my recommended seller list)
*~Some looney, artificially flavored cherry fruitloop pops even copy about me pages, length of time on ebay and feedback... amazing!~*

Note to new sellers: please see the bottom of this page for some important eBay rules, regulations and legalities... thanks!

A few tips on seller reputations: Check their feedback for how long they've been a seller (even if they tell you 9, 10, 1,437 or 2,158 years, 99 billion served, etc)... Look for negative remarks, what they were for and how the seller responded to them... this will tell you alot about the seller's attitude/mental state

It's a shame feedback doesn't show you all of the times a seller has been suspended for... oh... let's just use an example... "shill bidding"... this is when a seller uses their alternate eBay IDs to bid on their own items and against you to drive the price up on you... not nice... (the 2-3 sellers who seem to do this most consistently now take advanatge of ebay's new "hidden" user IDs, so they don't get "caught"... feedback also does not reveal when a seller is permanently suspended from posting on any eBay boards or chats and how many times they've been temporarily stripped of their powerseller status for dishonest conduct... maybe we'll all have to work on these improvements with eBay for a BETTER BUYER experience! LMHO :D
