Audiorelatives - A straightforward name - relating to audio and the relatives of audio.....

 

I Believe that work should be something that you should enjoy doing,and if you can, you should try and find employment as such.Let's face it - you spend most of your life doing it - all those thousands of hours of slaving away!

Of course It's not always easy to do what you'd like to do though - and  It wasn't easy for me  back in 1967 odd, to get work in a music studio-even then - being the' glamour' business, it was very much a closed shop,but after many hundreds of letters and much perseverance,and persistance,(and after lots of other short term music type related jobs), at a time when I was about to give up trying,I managed to get a positive interview - this was at the end of 1972!,and marked the starting point for me -in the tape library of which is called 'The most famous music studio in the world' in N.W London.

Well -I spent 30 years there ! - most as a remastering engineer - remastering pop and m.o.r music, with all the latest digital equipment.. and I must say that for the most part  I enjoyed it.

So for to anyone who really wants to work doing something they enjoy- Have determination and patience - and NEVER give up ! -you'll  succeed  in the end.

My Main interest has (since the very early 60's) been  in Tape Recorders and music, although I do have an interest in Fine Art - but at an early age I opted out of the art school !. Recently I have revived my interest in 35m/m Cameras,and found that eBay has a brilliant photographic section -Seems- I need more space for the cameras now!
