VERDIGRIS HOME & GARDEN, GIFTS & ANTIQUES

WHAT A NAME!
Welcome to my page and thanks for coming! The first thing most people ask me is "What is verdigris?" Well, it's what happens to copper and bronze when it is left to weather. It's a color, a patina, blue-green and beautiful, and I have been facinated with it in all of its depths and stages for most of my life. Debris speaks for itself! Hence, the name!

TWO IS A COUPLE, THREE IS A COLLECTION!
The next thing most people ask is "How did you get into this business?" The truth is, I'm a hopeless romantic, an incurable collector and a people lover. So when I run out of room for a collection or three, I get great pleasure out of seeing someone else fall in love with something I once "had to have"!! I am also unable to pass up vintage linens and I especially love to make a new heirloom out of an old one. Someone's grandma spent many hours making these pieces and a frayed edge or a hole shouldn't be allowed to render a piece unusable - just make it a pillow or the foundation of a quilt or a chair pad or a footstool -whatever the imagination can dream up! Antiques hold a special place in my heart because I just love that someone else, possibly long, long ago, held and cherished the item we now get to cherish and hopefully pass on to the next generation of antique lovers! Ebay is a dream come true for me to be able to share, and sell, and meet some of the most wonderful customers anyone could hope to have. I always wanted to have a shop, but then I wouldn't meet all of you, so this is great!!
