Digiscrap Boutique... How it all began

Digiscrap Boutique started on the web at www.digiscrapboutique.com .  DSB was created by Veronica Spriggs and Michelle Yiap. Two friends with a love of Graphic Design. Our vision was to create a scrapbooking enviornment that was happy and carefree. We believe scrapbooking should be a fun way to preserve your memories.

How it all began:

We met thru various yahoo groups where we both created signature tags, stationaries and tutorials to help people to learn how to create tags as we did. We have inseperable eversince. Even though I live in the US and Chelle lives in Singapore. The internet is truly a wonderful thing.

The trend in tag making began to include using digital scrapbook elements in tagmaking. That is how we became introduced to digital scrapbooking. I was amazed that someone could an element that looked so real you could reach out and touch it. And challenged myself to learn to make these wonderful things. So together we began to learn all about creating digital scrapbook products.

We knew that eventually we wanted to open our own digital shop I just had no idea it would be so soon. Although we are still pretty new to digiscrap we are both hopelessly addicted to creating and learning.

Our website DigiscrapBoutique was launched January 8th, 2007. It's a learning experience full of ups and downs but oh so very worth the effort. We decided to expand to ebay to be able share our digital products with an audience that may not find us otherwise.

Since we both love to design web pages as well we decided to use our digital products to create templates you can use for your auctions. If you'd like a template customized for use on the web just contact us and let us know.

How we do it:

We make all of our products using Photoshop and or Paint Shop Pro. All papers are 12" x 12" so that the fit into a standard scrapbooking album. Our inspiration for scrapping comes from all over. We try to follow the trends in fashion and interior design when coming up with color schemes. And we strive to create an overall theme that will be useful in all walks of life.
