 Welcome to the page of 1706bf. History buffs will pick up on the ID. For the rest of you, Benjamin Franklin was born in 1706, and my major field of collecting is anything Benjamin Franklin. 2006 was the BIG 300.

Collecting, what it's all about.

 For many years I collected police badges, banks and book banks, coins, stamps, books, etc. Now, since I collect only Benjamin Franklin items, is the time to pass these collections on to someone younger and more appreciative of them. Age and health have a lot to do with this. I still have some of each left. Most of the above have passed from my collections into others. There's is more to come. Life with Franklin is coming to the collecting end. I am presently working on clearance of the 600+ Franklin books. Then I'll start on the rest. It has been fun - enjoy your collections. I have been collecting Benjamin Franklin items for the last 35 years. I am the author of the definitive reference book on Franklin medals. Aptly named, The Medals of Franklin.
