Be a walking art piece rather than a dull book

It's marvelous to dress in vintage fashions where people stare and cant figure it out. There is always why, did you do your own hair and the where did you buy it, which confuses them, as they cant seem to except just the plain statement of it's vintage. Not realizing they cant just go to the mall and buy it. Even after they say ya but what store can I get it. It's amazing when someone cant copy your style. I believe in always being true to one's self, being an indivudual and always dressing your best, which for me is everyday. From my head to my toes, Im dressed to the nines. How you dress and what you collect becomes who you are. Being different is a grand thing. Afterall who wants to be a cookie cutter or ride someone else's train? Go back in time to the 40's, every woman was a lady, a man a gentlemen, best of all the fashion's were remarkable. So ahead of their time & classic, from the office wear to the cowboys clothes, all were great! Never again will our eyes feast on such beauties. And the shoes, now were talking, Extrodinary! Especialy when you see Carmen Miranda's shoes! Too die for. I have a hard time watching old movies as I wish I could own their clothes & accessories. But it is also a teaching tool. Take for instance my favorite the fashion show scene in my favorite movie "The woman". Too wonderful to discribe, go rent it. The forties are great and there are so many reasons to love the era. Today fashion is gone, people go out looking like they are going to gym, why? Your only here once, be beautiful & love yourself. Dress up! Find what you love and throw yourself into it! So why I ask be like a dull book and blend in when you can be original and stand out like an art piece.
What I am amazed with are the following, vintage movies with all the great dancers, silent movies with Buster Keaton, who did all his own stunts, All the glamorous actresses, Betty Hutton, Dale Evans, Betty Grable, Carmen Miranda, Josephine Baker, and the handsome actors, Willam boyd, Roy Rogers, Buster Keaton & A young Orson Welles. I love old Westerns, old horror movies pre 1960's, silent movies, & classics & musicals. Then there is the music, I love old western swing, Bob Wills being my favorite, Rockabilly(The Davis Sister are Great), exotica, old hawaiian, & old cuban & spanish. Older rockabilly is better, then the new stuff. Ive seen Johnny Cash & June Carter, Carl Perkins, Wanda Jackson, George Jones, Jerry Lee, Buck Owens and then some perform live. Lucky enough to see them before some of them passed away, blessed am I. Basically I like anything old and nothing new, that's to put it in a shorter way. Most importantly I love God, my parents & my hillbilly honey, the sweetest boy Ive ever known.
