Hi: My name is Phillis (Phil please) Forster, I am 60 years old and have been married 42 years to Greg, my High School sweetheart. I have two sons, Greg Jr. and Paul, ages 41 and 39. I have one granddaughter, Samantha. I haven't seen her for about 5 years, they live in Michigan, where we were from until we moved down here in 1989.
I first got into e-Baying back in 2002, but I really got into it seriously about 2 months ago. I had to retire after working for doctors for about 26 years due to a medical condition called Fibromyalgia,Raynauds disease, polyarthropathy, IBS,etc. It is too long of a story to get into it, but needless to say it is very debilitating. What really is frustrating about this disease is I use to teach dance, jazz, aerobics, tap. When I wasn't dancing, I was running. I use to run 3 miles a night, which I was doing until I was about 52 and then everything fell apart. It can be very depressing especially when you gain about 35 pounds right away and you can't do anything to work that off.
I got into e-Baying seriously at first just to have something to do and to make a little money for extra things like groceries and gas money. However, I have found that the most rewarding thing about e-Baying is the genuinely nice people you meet. It is so very rare to meet any real, sincerely nice humans. Although, lately, since Ebay has changed their feedback system,people aren't as nice as they used to be. I love my dog so much, he really helps me a lot. Also, since my husband retired to help take care of me and also just to spend time together, (he is still my rock), money is really tight, just like a lot of you out there. His 401K is gone Thanks to the stockmarket fiasco, so every little bit helps.
I am interested in the paranormal, ghosts, hauntings, etc. I like television, most of it. The History Channel, the decorating shows, Antique Roadshow, a lot of the British shows. Oh, I like Pogo too. Are there any Pogo's out there? My Pogo name is Saber 568.
