I have been an avid drag racer for fifteen years and have always enjoyed racing my 1976 Corvette. Six monthes after purchasind my Corvette I found myself at a street drag race event put on by a now defunct radio station and a now defunt drag race strip at Avilla in Indiana. I won a couple rounds but the important part was my love of the competition. After racing for a number of years and struggling with parts breakage with the increased horsepower and abuse I induced to the valiant Corvette I deduced there has to be a better suspension design for the Corvette. It was a great car at over 160 mph on the road but it was not suited for drag racing. So I developed a suspension kit for my car. After testing and tweeking it for several years. I have what I think is the best of both worlds for the Corvette suspension for street and drag racing.

It's all about FUN

My Corvette wasn't always a rocket on wheels. The 1976 Corvette came with 165 horse power from the factory. At 3650 pounds that equates to a 15.5 second quarter mile run at 85 mph. After years of feeding the need for speed the 600 dynoed horse power runs the quarter mile in 10.2 seconds at 127 mph. That is just about fast enough. I have pretty well "did that been there" at the dragstrip. I struggled more then once because I didn't know anyone that had raced a Corvette at the strip. I am here to offer an oppinion based on my real life experiance at the strip.
