My wife and I do our ebay business together . We are located in Unionville, Virginia. We have been a member of the ebay community since 2004.

           At the begining we actually only used ebay when we had a hard time finding something in the store. Then one day not to long ago I was going through what I considered my junk. My wife wanted me to toss it because it was doing nothing but taking up space. I had a revelation in recalling the old saying that one mans junk is another mans treasure. I decided that I was going to list it on ebay. I listed my first item on a Saturday Night (photography developing timer) with a buy it now listing. It sold within a few hours. (Unfortunately I messed up on my shipping cost and I only made like 2 bucks.) Anyway, I had two more of these so I listed them and had the same effect, of almost an immediate sell. After that I was hooked. Now I am still looking for my niche and having successes and failures, but I am learning. It is still fun and exciting to look at my listings just to see what is going on with them. (My wife does get into it more than I do though!)

          Now to tell you a little about myself. I currently work for USPS. My hobbies are photography, and I really enjoy doing work outside in my yard - planting flowers, gardening, etc. I am the type of person that likes to experiment with a lot of things. Some things come and go, a lot stay with me though. I guess it all depends on the interest factor.

        I plan to start a blog on ebay and getting myself more involved with the community side of things. I think it will be intersting and helpfull to find out what others think and use the knowledge of others to help me grow.
