Grandma Sue is a retired high school teacher of 22 years. She started her career by creating her own school in Germany. She came back to the states in 1979 an started working for the Public School Systems of the St. Louis Area. Sue taught elementary, middle, and high school Special Ed. students. She taught in the Inner City High Schools, the Schools in West St.Louis County and ended her career teaching high school English as a Second Language and Reading in St. Charles County. There she was selected Distict Teacher of the Year, in 2000, for the Francis Howell School District. Sue received many other honors in her 13 years with the District. She is most proud of being the Sponsor of the Senior Class for 8 years and the Student Council for 10 years. Obviously, Sue cares about children!
After Sue's first grandchild was born,in 1998,Sue began to lose interest in school activities in favor of her granddaughter. Retirement was eminent. It was Chryssi that got her interested in the American Girl dolls. Twin grandsons, Logan and Jesse were born this Spring. Life has not been the same since.
The proceeds from the store go to supplement the grandchildrens needs and a very small college fund Grandma has started.
Grandma Sue has always worked hard and tried to treat others very well. If you have a problem with anything you have purchased, please contact her. She will do her best to make things right.
