Tropical fruit
Bananas
Native to tropical regions, a banana fruit grow in hanging clusters, with up to 20 fruit to a tier (called a hand), and 3-20 tiers to a bunch. The total of the hanging clusters is known as a bunch, or commercially as a "banana stem", All varieties have a sweet fragrance when ripe and contain a soft creamy flesh inside that may be white or yellow colored. There are hundreds of different varieties of bananas but there are several varieties more commonly available. This fruit is often harvested in a green, unripe stage, but will continue to ripen and turn yellow when kept at room temperature. Bananas are more flavorful when allowed to ripen off the plant. When bananas are refrigerated, the skin darkens quicker, but they are kept from becoming soft and mushy for a longer period of time. Bananas are a valuable source of vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin C, and potassium.
Durian
Durian is a tropical fruit rarely seen outside of Sumatra, Malaysia and Thailand (Southeast Asia).The durian, named for an Indonesian word meaning "thorny" resembles an unripe coconut with spines covering its thick, green rind, it is not just another exotic and expensive fruit from South East Asia. In fact, it is considered "King of the Fruit" throughout the region. When ripe, They can then be split open with a sharp knife or chisel. Inside, you'll find the smooth flesh, or aril, in sections, like the meat of a walnut. Hidden in the flesh are five brown, inedible seeds. Once ripe, they rot very quickly, therefore it isn't feasible to export them widely to Europe or the Americas. Infamous for its strangely foul smell, the flesh of this fruit is nonetheless sweet and delicious. Durian are a valuable source of vitamin C, vitamin B1 and vitamin B2
Jack fruit (jck fruit)
jackfruit is the largest tree borne fruit in the world and exotic fruit. The fruit is huge. Inside has sweet yellow sheaths around the seeds and have a taste similar to pineapple but milder and less juicy. Jackfruit are a valuable source of vitamin C.
Pineapple
Fruit of the tropical plant fruit contains the proteolytic enzyme bromelain, which has been used (like papain) to tenderize meat, rich source of vitamin C copper. The fruit is formed from the flowers and bracts and grows on top of a short, stout stem bearing stiff, fleshy leaves. The fruit is eaten fresh, tinned, or made into juice.
