I`m nearly 61 years young right now, I moved here in the Eufaula Al. area when I was 5 years old, I think my mother and dad brought me to this lake when I was 9 or 10 years old and that was the first mistake I think my parients ever did, I fell in love. I worried them to death untill they just had to take me back and back. I watch this lake back up in mid to late 1950`s to the full pool it is now 189.0 above sea level.

To make thing short I grew up here the same time Tom Mann started his enterprise here. I was a big fan of his and still believe in his ideas even thou he has gone to the big pond in heaven. I guess he was the one that really got me into Bass Fishing and tourney`s.

I love to fish with soft plastics along with alot of the other types of baits. I guess I`ll die here around soft plastic, I hope my wife put some in the casket with me I`ll might need then later.

I have fished this lake for 50 years now and hope I have that many more well maybe not that many.

Tom Mann taugh me one thing and I tell everbody the same thing and that is the best time to go fishing isssssss THE FIRST CHANCE YOU GET.
