WELCOME to my About Me page. I have been crafting, in one form or another for as long as I can remember. I have always made crafts solely for family, friends or, selfishly, myself; yet have always wanted to share my jewelry and crochet items with others that would appreciate them as much as I do ~ and even better enjoy wearing, giving them as gifts or using them MORE than I do making them (and that is HARD TO DO!). I live in chronic pain due to a failed back surgery that has totally altered my lifestyle and it keeps me pretty much at my house, or should I say property ~down here is the backwoods of South Georgia, where I sit and make beautiful things. I try to find a BRIGHT side in everything so while I have been sitting here at the house I have made tons of different crafts and I am hoping this "adventure" to sell my much loved items to people who will love them just as much as me will be both FUN & REWARDING. Making a gorgeous necklace or spending hours on a baby blanket that I know will become a "Family Heirloom" is very self gratifying~ which is GREAT for me!

I am happily married to my best friend of eight years and we have been blessed with twin 6 year old boys~ who are as different as every piece I make. I am a total dog lover, which had started becoming a "collection" of its own but is now at a comfortable number with a variety of types of dogs. I like to be outside where I enjoy the sunny days and the cloudy days even more~ and draw a lot of inspiration from all types of nature.

I have been steadily making jewelry and crocheting items for over two years now, building up what I have always lovely refereed to as my inventory (even when all my husband could see was me spending money- ha).....and now with encouragement from friends and family, I am ready to share it with Y'all! My necklaces are made from the finest semi-precious gemstone or other natural material, such as shell, bone, hemp and have many variety of findings, (all gemstone jewelry is made with all sterling silver)& others are made out of beautiful glass beads with as many different designs as my brain can create. I also enjoy ENLIGHENING my knowledge about GEMSTONE LORE & the metaphysical healing properties of gemstones. My crocheted items are WONDERFUL, if I say so myself. The blankets are sure to keep anyone warm on even the coldest of nights and the accessories are just things you SHOULD NOT HAVE to live without. I am self taught crocheter and jewelry maker. A girlfriend showed me how to do a Double Crochet Stitch (do not ask me why we started with that one) and rest I learn either through trial and error or from reading countless books and websites. The jewelry is not as hard to learn to make, BUT to make it with the finest of quality and still be creative enough to satisfy myself can be somewhat more challenging.
