Barbara Ann Bechtel is an artist and designer residing in Cape Canaveral, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in painting from the Savannah College of Art & Design in 2003. Her work focuses on small intimate narratives. While these narratives vary from small alters to handmade books to assemblages, her work always focuses on memories and mental whispers combined with familiar trinkets that create absurd narratives. Through these personal narratives, a psychogenic landscape is revealed. Tubbs says about her work, "My work is mysterious and ephemeral, but always has a touch of humor and futility. I see it as a reflection of the human condition." Her influences include Andrew Wyeth, Paula Rego, and modern and historical advertising, particularly that aimed towards women and children. Details: Our shirts are name brand, usually Hanes  100% heavyweight pre-shrunk cotton. Exceptions may be made in certain instances.  Garments are high quality, as you'd expect from any retail store. Our screen prints are professionally printed on an Anatol automatic press.  The plastisol ink is cured at 400 degrees directly after being printed. Shipping: We ship via USPS. Shipping time occurs within five business days from when the order is paid for. Unforseen circumstances may delay the order and we cannot guarantee a set time for your purchase to arrive even though we are very concerned about each and every order.  We use top of the line Tyvek envelopes for all shipping, though some  larger orders may be shipped in boxes.
