Hello everyone,
I am Mom to two daughters and Grammie to three toddler boys, one being twins. I will be a grandmother again in April 2010, and there is a little girl on her way this time. I can't wait to share my dollhouse and my passion for dolls with her !!
My husband and I owned an antique shop and an antique co-op for quite a few years. His hobby has always been the restoration of Victorian and Edwardian pieces, and we were constantly going to auctions and antique shops hunting for that special “find” to restore, or to leave “as is” and add to our home. So, it was a natural progression for us to open an antique shop and then an antique co-op followed. Not only was I right at home among so many “treasures”, but I had the opportunity to meet and befriend some wonderful and very interesting people. Auctions were held once a month, and what fun they were!

Much to my husband’s chagrin, I discovered that “little girl” inside myself again. Unlike my sister who was a tomboy, I loved playing with my dolls when I was young. Well, that one vintage doll that I just had to have, turned into that one antique doll I just had to have. Now, almost every room in my house has dolls sitting, standing and “playing” among our “things”. He keeps saying “no more dolls!”, but there is always room for one more!
The need to clothe my tiny all bisques is what started me down the path to crocheting again. It had been years since I had crocheted that first afghan, so I needed to reacquaint myself with the feel of a hook and thread. I had never crocheted items so tiny, but I have always loved a good challenge. So, with a lot of hit or miss in the beginning, I taught myself to make the items you will see listed by me on eBay.
I have done a multitude of special orders for my customers over the past few years. So, if you ever see something you might like repeated, or in a different size, color or style, please don’t hesitate to contact me. It is always a pleasure for me to get my creative juices flowing!
