Did you know that over 1000 different Canadian Military badges and thousands of varieties have been produced in the last 150 years. In 1855 the Canadian Militia began to take over Canada's defences as England started to withdraw its troops for service in the Crimean war. Unlike America's Military Forces the Canadian Army was based on the British regimental system with its multiple badge types and varieties.

Use of knowledge is the key!
I disseminate information on the badges used by Canada's Armed Forces. The different orders of dress on which they were worn. Plus historical details of the organization of the Corps and Regiments of the Canadian Army. My series of books, "The Standard Catalogue of Canadian Army Badges 1855 to date", lists all known badges and varieties produced for Canada's Armed Forces.
