My husband Andy and I have been in business making and selling pottery from our home in Port Orchard, WA since 1991. In May of 2005, I opened an Ebay store to have another sales outlet for our pottery and garden markers. Soon after that I discovered and fell in love with Peruvian jewelry which I added to the store. Since then I have added the pearl jewelry, purse hangers, fashion jewelry, Millefiori jewelry, Andy's books, and the dog related items. The last was a given since we are dog lovers, participating in many dog sports with our 3 dogs.
Andy's dog Henry, a 14 year old Champion Belgian Tervuren, is now retired so Andy has taken to summer cross country motorcycle trips on his Valkyrie instead of dog shows. He has finally decided to let go of some of his enormous book collection. Thus the "Andy"s Books" catagory.
My biggest interest is the dogs. I have a 12 year old Belgian Sheepdog, Rainy, and a 11 year old red Border Collie, Sunny. Rainy is a conformation champion and has performance titles in agility, rally, K9 musical freestyle, and flyball. She has also graced the cover of Clean Run magazine. My gem Sunny, is a rescue dog from the streets. He has AKC and NADAC agility titles and is getting ready for rally.
For 13 years I have worked for internationally known trainer Dawn Jecs, teaching classes and assisting with workshops and camps at her training facility in Puyallup, WA. We also go on the road doing seminars and workshops in different states. This is why I have Dawn's Choose to Heel dog training books, videos, and dvds in my store.
Jewelry
If you see something in my store or auction listings that you want in another color, stone, or size please ask. I buy the jewelry in large quantities so I always have more on hand that has not been listed in the store yet. Also I can resize most of the jewelry items excluding the rings. I actually make the millefiori, lampwork and other glass and gemstone bead earrings as well as the dog earrings so I can customize them for you. I can change earwires on most of the earrings that I have so if you need surgical steel, instead of silver plated or alpaca, I can do that.
Combined Shipping for Jewelry
If you buy multiple jewelry items there is a great shipping discount. After the item with the highest shipping price, each additional single jewelry item is only an additional 25 cents for shipping. Multiple item listings, for example "Lot of 10 Bracelets", do not qualify. All items purchased must be paid for together on the same invoice to be eligible for the combined shipping discount. If you buy an item and want to do more shopping, return to my store without paying for the item. Then, when you are finished shopping just send me a note to let me know you are finished and I will send you a combined invoice with the correct shipping discount. The reason that all items need to be paid for in one transaction is that Paypal charges a fee for every payment transaction that I receive.
Free Priority Mail shipping for jewelry purchases totaling over $100.00 for US customers only.
Priority Mail upgrade for jewelry orders totaling over $50.00 for US customers only.
Pottery
Andy and I make all of the pottery in my listings. Each piece, excluding the plant markers, is permanently signed and dated by whichever of us made it. We each make and glaze our own pots. We each specialize in different items with some overlap. Andy makes all of the dispenser bottles, mortar & pestle sets and large pieces. I make all of the butter keepers, sponge holders, mugs and items with lids. We can do special orders if you see something that you want in a different color or size please ask.
Our line of plant markers has been very popular. We also do special orders for plant names that we do not stock.
Special orders on pottery and plant markers can take up to 3 months. We have a very large kiln and must have it full to fire with the cost of fuel so high.
Combined Shipping for Pottery
If you buy more than one pottery item or pottery and other items I will have to weigh everything before I give you a shipping price. I double box most of the pottery items and pack them well so that you will receive them in good shape. On most pottery items I add a packaging charge of $2.75. This charge is to cover the expense of boxes, packaging materials, tape, etc.
International Sales
I am in the process of changing over to international shipping to Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. It will take me some time to get over 1600 listings edited to accept international buyers so in the meantime if you find something that you want to purchase which has not yet been changed to international please let me know and I will get it changed over for you.
Shipping Time
Generally, I get home late on Wednesdays so it is the only weekday that I do not go to the post office. We can usually ship the next business day and often the same day if payment is received early in the day. After you pay for an item I will send you a message to say when I will be able to get the item mailed. Sometimes I will write "no later than". This means if I should happen to make an unplanned trip to town before that, which happens many times, it could get mailed sooner.
New Items
Because of popular request, I have added the following plant markers to our regular inventory:
Stevia Beans Melons Peppers Strawberries
