My pictures came out of frustration with the commercial frames available for purchase. It seems they were never the right diminsions and often they wouldn't even lay flat.
I spent a year building a doll house for my daughter and decided why not make some pictures for the wall. Easier said then done. Getting the corners to fit perfectly square and the sides the same lenghts proved a frustrating initially.
Being a perfectionist I kept at it until I learned a few tricks that make it work for me. Most of my frames have 3 coats of a hight quality stain and a final light coat of varnish.
At first I only made these for my family and a few of my wifes friends. Now, my son has the opportunity to take an educational trip to Europe later this year so I decided to put some of my creations on ebay to help with the costs.
I'm always trying out new ideas, striving to come up with the best looking frames possible. I hope you like them!
