In the early 1900s, people sent photos, letters, and postcards to
friends and family just as we do today. I find these lost family
treasures at antique shops, flea markets and Ebay sales of estate
lots.
I became interested in doing photo rescue when I found a box of
old family photos in my mother-in-law's attic. Among them were
photos of people who were not family members, but they had sent
photos of themselves and their families. I realized there must have been lots of people who did that, and it would be great fun to find these photos and get them back to the people who would treasure them. I hope you find something you'll treasure!
