About our shop

The Houghton Book shop is an all-volunteer enterprise that accepts donations of used books in all subject categories and resells them to support scholarships to Houghton College in Houghton, NY.

Occasionally we receive books whose appeal is to readers with specialized interests.  these are auctioned on eBay or posted in our eBay store from time to time.  bookmark this page or our website for easy access to our auctions.

How we can help

If you are visiting Rochester, NY, please stop and see us at The Village Gate Square, 274 N. Goodman St. in Rochester's Neighborhood of the Arts.  Store hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays 11-4.  Call 24-7 for information: 585-454-2910.
