I attended yard sales long before they became fashionable.  My mother was left a widow with 12 children at 39 years old.   She soon found that yard and rummage sales provided quality items at a fraction of the cost.  It didn't take long for me to appreciate the great finds that we came upon.  We found dolls from Italy, clothing from New York City and jewelry from Mexico without ever leaving town.   When my mother passed away in 1993, she left a large following of treasure hunters behind.  Lucky for me, Ebay came along, so that I wouldn't be a total packrat.

     I currently live with my family in the Poconos.  The yard sales around here feature clean, quality merchandise.  I am especially interested in dolls, jewelry, toys and books.  Although I try to accurately describe what I am selling, I am not an expert in all areas.  Feel free to email questions and comments if you are an expert and want to add to my description. 

     Please do not ask me to forgo the handling fee; that's rude!  Only a few people have attempted to do this since I started Ebay and I patiently wrote and informed them that handling includes bubble wrap, sometimes a strong box, tape, wrapping paper and my time in getting your item to the Post Office fast.  If you can't afford S&H, please don't bid on it!
