US Navy Veteran - Helping Others


Christmas at Home

  • trained as aviation anti-submarine warfare electronics technician
  • taught soldering to NASA specifications (micro-miniature repair)
  • privileged to work with FASO/SERE teams.
  • TAD to USS Constellation, USS Kitty Hawk, USS Ranger, USS Denver, USS Wabash.
  • assigned to NASA/Dryden's Space Shuttle Support Team at Edwards AFB for the first five recoveries of the new space shuttle.
Feeding Time

Changing careers mid-life, an avocation became a vocation in children's social work. Since chemotherapy and an MS-like diagnosis, my efforts are focused at a local level.

My kids are grown (33, 36, 39) and I have six (!) incredibly energetic grandkids who are the light of my life. We spend a lot of time together fishing and camping.

Our newest hobby is Geocaching, but we also quest for fossils and arrowheads (science lessons in disguis). Great fun!

I've traveled all over this country's backroads, particuarly enjoying the ancient wonders of Utah and Arizona, the wild beauty of Texas and the ever-changing tidal flats of the Carolinas, but my heart ... ahhh, my heart belongs to Missouri!

My soul belongs to my risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Does YOURS?
