Why 629am?

I chose that name because the my other choices were already taken.  It's the time listed on my birth certificate: 6:29 AM.

How did you find out about eBay?

I learned of eBay when my dad started trading it on the NASDAQ stock index.  It used to gain or lose 100 points in one day!  If you're trading with 200 shares that's the equivalent of winning or losing $20,000 in one day!  Unfortunately, that kind of stress and the hepatitis B that my dad was born with eventually killed him in 2000 at the age of 47.

The first item I ever bought on eBay was a video game.  It would be the first of many.  The game was Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64.
