Who is 68cougarxr7 / Red Cougar Trading Post?

My name is Judy, and I get lots of e-mails asking me about my user ID, whether or not I have a Cougar (most of the e-mails I get are from guys, thinking based on my user ID that I'm a guy, too LOL). Then they tell me about the one they had once upon a time and how it's still their favorite car after all these years! My best friend in high school had a '67 Cougar and I really liked the style and how it was different from most other cars. When I met my husband (oh gosh has that been almost 20 years already?), he had a '67 Dodge Dart convertible he took to shows. After we got married I told him I'd be more excited about going to shows if I had my own car...I remembered that '67 Cougar my friend had in high school and we started looking. One thing I like about the older Cougars is they're not a dime a dozen, but it also makes them hard to find when you really want one. Well, to make a long story short, we found a '68 xr-7, fixed it up a bit, have taken it to a number of shows, and also drag raced it a bit (14 second quarter mile). I also had an '84 Cougar as my driver when we got married...loved that car, too! I'm currently a stay-at-home mom of an eleven year old boy and a six year old girl.
