Welcome to my little corner of the world. I started selling because I need to finish down sizing because of my disabilities. Now I need to build up an emergency fund for the assistance dog that my daughter is training for me. These dogs can cost around $10,000, so I want to make sure she will have quality veterinarian care when she finally comes to my home. This also means I have to make room for her, so more things have to go. HELP!
I try to package as carefully as possible with bubble packages or whatever is needed to protect your item(s). Please remember that the post office can & does lose & damage packages once in a while. While I would like to be able to replace the item if it's lost, most of my items are one of a kind. Please purchase insurance if you would expect a refund if the item is lost or damaged. Most people do not realize that almost all of the mail & packages are sorted by machines that like to eat packages, especially if they're not reinforced, so I try my best to keep your items safe.
I will always try to have packages out within 2 business days of cleared payment, but most of the time it will be the same day. If I'm having difficulties due to my disabilities, I will notify you as soon as possible. While I do have backup help, they do not always feel confident packing multi-orders. I do combine shipping charges to give you the best deal possible, but since I sell so many different types of items it's impossible to give you a flat rate on combined shipping costs. You're doing me a favor by purchasing my items, so I consider eBay & PayPal fees & packing supplies like tape & packages to be part of my way of helping you out. Please contact me with the items you're interested in if you need to know the combined total amount before you bid. Except for large, fragile items, I generally charge less than 50 cents a package for handling & delivery confirmation.
I expect to be paid OR to be contacted within 5 days of the auction closing with payment information through eBay checkout. I realize that some of you are new eBayers & are still trying to figure everything out. When you push "pay now" it doesn't mean you have to pay immediately. When you click the notify seller of a payment sent, this will give you an invoice with payment information. PayPal eChecks usually take longer than regular checks to clear, so please be patient with this payment method.
In addition, please do not give your password to eBay to anyone! I'm sorry if your child/husband/wife/cat/dog/ghost or any other person was the person that placed the bid, but if it's under your eBay ID, you must pay for it. I do not like leaving non-paying feedback, but in fairness to the other sellers, I must. This is part of the feedback sytem, even though I may not agree with all of it. Please! If something is wrong, contact me as soon as possible! I'm not perfect and I don't expect others to be either. My memory isn't great either, so I can sympathize if you just forget. The sooner you contact me, the better.
I want you to be as happy with your purchases that I expect to be when I buy on eBay. Please let me know if there is a problem, since I can't fix something I don't know about. I want to earn 100% feedback from you, & I'm willing to compromise to make that happen. I'm not here to make a fortune, I'm just trying to build a veterinary emergency fund for my new assistance dog that my daughter's training for me. Sellers can make there own rules on eBay, but buyers like you & me are the ones that make the final decisions on what practices we will allow. I don't want gouged on shipping charges, and I'm pretty sure you feel the same way that I do.
I am a crafter, which means I COLLECT EVERYTHING (at least according to my kids!). I scrapbook, rubber stamp, make cards, build dollhouse miniatures, and do just about anything I can do with my grandkids. I also collect covered bridges, salt cellar dips, miniature tea sets, Gone With the Wind items, black & red cast iron kitchen trivets, Cat's Meow Village items from Ashland, OH as well as covered bridges, angels, Dr. Seuss and Stephen Cosgrove books and LOTS of dust! Now, you can see why I need to let go of (a few) things!
YES, I'm still making & donating over 100 cards a month. Currently I am making cards for a local nursing home that I've "adopted." I also make all ocassion cards for the soldiers to send home to their families (there's not a PX on every corner for them to shop!). My daughter will probably be going to Afghanistan early next year, so it will mean more cards to go overseas. If you are interested in helping out, or if you would like to honor the veterans in your area, email me & I'll let you know what you can do. I really want to thank all of the people that have already helped in any way. It's people like you who make me realize that I'm doing the right thing! THANKS & God bless our troops & veterans!
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world. I appreciate your patronage, and who knows, maybe you might find a few little extras in your packages when you purchase from me! Happy eBaying!
