I have been collecting stamps since I could sit up on my grandmother’s knee - couple years back.  I use to collect all I could find, even putting a penny on a match book and mailing it to the stamp company that always sent 100 - 500 stamps for the penny (of course most of them are out of business now).  Then I joined the US Air Force and got to see the world, well after 6 years in Arizona (Luke AFB), 2 years in Iceland, 13 years in Virginia (Langley AFB), with 4 trips to Saudi Arabia, countless other Countries and after 21 years as an F-15 Eagle Crew chief - I retired.  Now I enjoy life and my hobbies of collecting US stamps and OA items even more. 

I collect OA Lodge Flaps and Conclave (Area IIG – NE 3B) patches from the following lodges - 357 (I started in this one), 410, 461, 516, 500, 120, 546, 247, 34, and 219.  I also tried to collect flaps from all New York State lodges; however that I found to be very expensive.  In addition I collect items from Camp Portaferry in upstate NY, where I went as a young scout.
