We feel it important that our buyers know a little something about who we are and what we represent.
Beginning with the most basic situation question, we're a small publishing company in the Pacific Northwest that produces 1 to 2 titles a year.
In the past, we've focused on aviation and travel humor books & CD. This year, we're branching into publishing industry reports highlighting emerging trends in the aviation marketplace. Being a part of the Ebay community helps us fund research projects in areas such as the paranormal, quantum physics, and flight safety enhancement.
Regarding charitable interest, some of the charities we've donated Ebay profits to from previous auctions include: Greenhill Human Society, Women In Aviation, Tsunami Relief Fund, Wellness Center, MADD, and private individuals pursuing special projects such as acting, programming, and so forth. We've also donated time in creating feedback reports to Corporations like Safeway, Ebay, and so forth to enhance their operations.
Most of all, we want to thank all of our customers for being part of our 'giving back to society' program. Let's keep a good thing going.
We are highly supportive of aviation because the industry helps build character and responsible human beings. The golden era of aviation is not over, it's just begun. Hopefully, in our lifetime, we will see hybrid performance aircraft operating on alternative fuels with aircraft performance capable of quiet, supersonic flight -- operated by pilots with an evolved skillbase.
It's been a great pleasure dealing with the Ebay community. Most of you have been responsible and courteous and fun to do business with. Occasionally we run into folks we really click with - and sometimes we come across a sour grape. But that's life. If we can influence a sour grape to improve their attitude, so much the better. In our business, we deal with sour grapes the same way Southwest Airlines does: with humor and a joyful send off.
