Hello and welcome to my about me page.  I live in the Foothills of the Ozark Mountains in Missouri about 120 miles from St. Louis, Missouri.  One of my favorite hobbies is researching my family's genealogy.  I love to read and usually end up with an abundance of books that threatens to push me out of the house (a little exaggeration).  Another hobby I enjoy is collecting broken china.  Who collects broken china?  Within the last few years I discovered a craft called Pique Assiette (French for broken dishes).  This is an old craft that enables crafters to design unique designs for their home or garden.  The broken china pieces can be broken into square like pieces (similar to tiles) or dishes can be broken with a hammer using the unique pieces that remain.   There are thousands of beautiful dish patterns that can be used to place in a round or square pattern or can be used to make birdhouses, bird baths, stepping stones, mirrors, wall decor, or whatever your imagination allows.  I sell broken china tiles in my store for those who really like the craft but do not like to break dishes themselves.  Come and visit us the next time you are scanning eBay to see my items for sale.
