Welcome to Old Crow Farm! I am a self-taught fiber artist living in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The peace and quiet of the country and the long Autumn and Winter seasons are ideal for a rug hooker and Santa-maker. Halloween witches and pumpkin people, SnowSnickels and many other original folk art personalities are also created here in my home studio. As I work, I can enjoy the leaves turning red and golden in the Fall... and in Winter, the snow softly drifts across the woods and fields around our home.



My work is done in a little white farmhouse down a country road where wonderful wools, colourful fabrics and trims tumble over each other on tables and shelves before they are fashioned into my whimsical collectibles. Each hand-hooked rug and folk character bring a little bit of Vermont to you...wherever in the world you live!

I am a member of Vermont Hand Crafters, a member of ATHA and a member of the Green Mountain Rug Hooking Guild. I recently juried into the Northeast Kingdom Artisans Guild and my work can be seen and purchased in their beautiful Gallery in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Each November, my work can be purchased at the Vermont Hand Crafter's Holiday Show at the Sheraton in Burlington, Vermont or at other times directly through me at my home by appointment or at the Gallery. I show my work each year at the Green Mountain Guild's Rug show hung at the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont. Although I am best known for my elaborate Santas, I am creating more original hooked rugs for those who enjoy whimsical designs with ties to the past in their home furnishings, or those who collect folk art as treasured keepsakes. My inspiration comes from old samplers and frakturs, antique painted furniture and ethnic designs from the 16th to the 19th centuries.
