Hello!.....my name is Donna. eBay is my addiction, but the grandkids are my passion. I'm fifty-something and have been married to the same great (most of the time) country/farm boy since the early 70's. My eBay journey began in February 2000 as a way to clean out things we no longer needed from our closet. Over the years my eBay business has been redesigned several times. It has ranged from myself in the spare bedroom to 10 full time employees and a 30,000 square foot warehouse.

When the grandchildren started arriving, I decided to cut back and have more play time. Now, I work from a large shop at our home which sits in the middle of a 100 acre field in Northwest Alabama. This location serves as headquarters for my eBay business and allows me the freedom to stop work and play when the kids are here or when I just want to sit under the shade tree and chill. I would recommend this life style to everyone!

Oh yeah, we also have a family farm where we raise 1200 acres of cotton, soybeans, corn and wheat.



Many have asked: "Where did the name 7 Winds come from?"

....here’s the story.......

We cared for a bachelor uncle who had Alzheimer’s. As we walked around the fields looking at the crops he was trying to say: “The crops are good and you've got a lot going on”. But, the disease process had gotten to the point where his mind and his words didn’t always work together and it came out “you’ve got the seven winds blowing."

So, when it came time to name my business – 7 Winds seemed natural for our various endeavors and 7 Winds Fashions became my eBay user id. By the way, Uncle Charner also wanted “2 blue donkeys” for supper one night! That was the 2nd name choice.
